2017 was undoubtedly the strongest year so far for Half-Up Half-Down styles and with so many options I can see why it is still such a popular choice in 2018.
However, 2018 has swerved more towards the Romantic Up-Do's. Perfectly nailed by the Russian Stylists, these Bridal Hairstyles are soft and textured with lots of sweeping lines. These are not easy styles to perfect but the results are so worth it.
BRAIDS have been popular for the last few years and are going nowhere fast. A braid can instantly add interest to a style and give it more texture. They are so versatile and if you don't have that much hair then extensions can be added.
The Mermaid Braid has been such a popular style for this year and I love it! It's very soft and romantic but does have a cool twist to it. It can also be dressed up with any accessory.
VINES are so on the hit list this year. Again, going back to the romantic vibe, they add a lovely soft finish to Bridal Styles and look great whether you are wearing your hair Up or Down.
So along with the traditional styles we all know and love, 2018 Brides have so much more choice of beautiful Bridal Hairstyles. 2018 has definitely been my favourite so far in terms of all the new styles I have seen emerging. Just these last few months I'm also seeing a shift in the styles being asked to be more loose, tousled and unstructured. Even the classics are coming back but with a softer, more relaxed look to them. So more lovely styles are yet to come. Watch this space!
